Head out to the Hunter Valley Zoo where you can spend the day seeing and interacting with a host of different animals, birds and reptiles. The Zoo is a safe refuge for many species and the family can have the opportunity to get up and personal with these great critters.
Aqua golf and putt putt is located just near the Hunter Valley Gardens. Spend the afternoon chasing a ball with the kids.
After putt putt why not take a stroll around the Hunter Valley Gardens Shopping Village, have a meal and watch the kids play in the fully fenced playground.
The biggest attraction for the family these July school holidays is Snow in the Gardens in the Hunter Valley Gardens. The fun includes the snow play zone where the kids can play in the snow, build a snowman or a snow castle, let their imagination run wild. Try a little ice skating in the rink. How about jumping in the giant inner tube, go on the toboggan run and get a little air. There are also a host of other great rides, quality food and drink stands as well as the beautiful gardens and the story book garden for the kids. This is truly a full day activity.
